Latham Fiberglass Pools are produced as a one-piece seamless fiberglass unit designed and manufactured using the highest quality fiberglass cloth and most technically advanced resins under strictly supervised factory conditions by Certified Composite Technicians (CCT). Each pool is individually crafted by hand, with the thickness of polymer coatings being specified within a few thousandths of an inch. These methods are further assured by the personal inspection of each and every pool before shipment.
Installation of your Hawaiian Island Pool
Because Hawaiian Island Pools offers fiberglass pools that are manufactured in a one-piece design, they can usually be installed within five days. So you and your family will be swimming in your Blue Hawaiian Island Pool in no time at all!
Once you have decided on the purchase of one of our fiberglass pools, you will be provided with a hand-drawn plan for the location and landscaping of your pool area. Your sales designer will work with you to create the perfect environment for the pool area including pool shape and placement, the deck or patio, proper filtration system and your choice of pool accessories.
Your swimming pool will be delivered to your home on a special trailer. Following an efficient excavation procedure, the finished pool is placed by a large crane. Next, the filtration system and selected accessories are installed. Then your family can get wet in their new, beautiful Fiberglass Swimming Pool.

On day 1, we begin excavation and prepare the area for the pool to arrive later that same day. As we dig, we set the elevation we want the pool to be at. As the hole is being dug, we check the elevation height every few feet to ensure the pool sits level.
Once the hole is completed, the bottom of the hole will mirror the shape of the fiberglass pool shell. Later on that same day, we use a crane to lift the pool into the hole. A properly excavated hole makes the pool leveling process much easier, upon placing the fiberglass pool shell. A system of hydraulic jacks are placed around the perimeter of the pool to level the pool shell.
Normally, by the third day, the pool is backfilled and full of water. After the fiberglass pool shell installation is completed, we form the decking that will be poured around the pool. In some cases, footers are necessary on the outside of the deck, so we form those and insert steel rebar along the perimeter for added strength.
We offer a variety of options for the deck around the pool, but for this particular pool, a paver deck with a riser on the back side where tile will be applied has been chosen.
